  1. Clay Shirkey's book "Here Comes Everybody" is surprisingly very interesting. I am not a big fan of reading books but once I started to read it I didn't want to put it down!

  2. I found the book really interesting, also! The first few pages that described the story about Evan and Ivaanna quite fascinating.

  3. I think it's really interesting how a collaborative internet-led effort brought Ivanna's struggle with Sasha to national attention! It shows how no information is safe on the internet (people found Sasha's full name, picture, and address) - but on the other hand proves the usefulness of the internet in accomplishing a task.

  4. I thought that this chapter has shown us how powerful and widespread the use of technology has become more apparent in our society today. It's amazing how this simple case of losing a cell phone could change into a nationwide quest for justice in just a matter of weeks.

  6. I thought the book was very interesting in showing how technology has become very popular and how how connected people are online. In Sasha's case, I found it amazing how the readers found her full name and where she lived. Truely amazing, what you can do online.

  7. i found the initial story in the book really interesting. It was written well and was a decent read. I also enjoyed learning about the different ways that the world has changed over just the past ten years in regards to the ever growing interconnectedness and globalization. However, i couldn't help but wonder why Shirky felt it necessary to focus on big business, like microsoft, and how it is run. I got the concept of how the world worked from the previous 17 pages, and I didn't feel it necessary to focus on that for another 3 pages.

  8. I really found chapter 1 interesting, too. What really amazes me is how SO many people came together just to find a phone. However, after thinking about chapter 1 more I realize that it wasn't just about finding a phone, it was about how willing people are to come together and help out a perfect stranger when technology makes it so easy.

  9. I really thought it was interesting how so many people came together from all over to help a woman get her phone back. I've had my purse stolen about 5 years ago and it seemed useless to find a way to get it back. I think that if it happened now, that I may have a chance of finding it. It is really amazing how much technology has progressed over the years, but at the same time how scary it is also.

  11. I thought the book was pretty interesting because of the scenarios that all the examples were in. All the scenerios are all real and that it brings how the world is changing constantly to your mind and makes you think what the world would be like the next day or the next year.
